Character Application (Please read this before posting in the Tavern!)

Before making a new thread in this forum, one thing you need to do is fill out a character application! These will help us know who your character is. You may not put "UNKNOWN" or anything of the sort for any of your answers. You may choose from one of the races and classes listed below. When you are finished with your character application, post it here and I will quote you. Once your post is quoted, your character is FINAL. The only way to change your race after that is to buy potions. The only way to change your class afterwards is to train.

It is a good idea to link your character profile post in your signature, so others can read about your character.

You will be granted a weapon and some basic armor when you take your first quest. You can pick up new weapons and armor by doing more quests, exploring, or buying them at the marketplace.

The main meeting place for characters is a place called the Laughing Dragon Tavern. The forum itself if mainly for getting quests, though you can also interact with other characters there too. This thread is only for applications.

As for your background summary, since we have no map or lore posted yet, you can wait to write this until after we post that.

Is almost always walking around humming or whistling a tune.

No other notable body features. Casually wears a light-medium set of armor that compliments his fighting style, as he prefers to be faster than tougher. Under his armor he wears a leather riding suit for horseback riding. His fighting style is twofold; for most combat he relies on swordplay, but during certain training exercises he practiced mounted combat with a lance and shield.
Short Background Summary: Fresh out of the academy, Elijah is an entry-level knight for ________, whose main job in Hyrapthora is to train adventurers and mercenaries with a military-grade efficiency in order to better protect the people from monsters and other dangers. Elijah as a child spent his life in a large city (______), always wanting to become a knight to avenge his dead father and take care of his sickly mother. He has no siblings, and always sends a portion of the money he earns working different places back home to support his mother. When lore is posted I will fill in blanks.

Physical Appearance: Average weight, slightly shorter than average, long auburn hair with matching eyes. She wears heavy armor, enough for protect and enough so that she can move around fairly easily. She will also use a sword and shield for battle. She has a somewhat round face, and is almost always smiling.
Short Background Summary: Born and raised in a small town, she took after her father, whom was a mighty paladin of the time. However, as he had such a duty to fufill, protecting the peace and such, he was almost never home, but when he was, Tallie tried to spend all of her time with him, learning of his great battles and glorious victories, and when she was old enough, the art of the sword, however, she was not taught much of his more holy powers, though their family still remained strongly religious. Unfortunately, her father and mother both died soon after her 18th birthday, only days apart. And instead of quietly mourning their deaths, she took off out into the world, preferring to stay positive instead of dwell on the past. She had a happy life with her parents up until that point, and she was completely satisfied with herself.

Oh my god I hope this makes sense to you guys! I tried to keep the summary as not specific as possible, because the lore hasn't been written yet, I think I did ok.

Physical Appearance: 6'2" and strong in appearance for an elf. Looks as if he could come from high elf ancestry. Not ridiculously muscular, but not weak, either. Has a sharp face and disapproving green eyes. His hair is back-length and a strawberry blonde color, he wears it back to keep it out of his eyes, sometimes in a low ponytail. He keeps himself very clean and well-kept, straight down to the plate armor that he wears (scratches and scars on his armor, however, he tends to leave). He wears a small goatee, uncharacteristic of elves who usually do not grow facial hair, but Tydrolus like it. He has very few visible scars, but his back and chest have seen better days, something he prefers to keep covered up.
Short Background Summary: Tydrolus is the oldest of four, and the oldest of a family of combat-prone elves. His younger brothers Zaliul (a mage preferring the arcane arts), Mihai (also a mage, though preferring fire and ice), and Alenus (the youngest and a mage bordering on what would be called 'warlock', preferring dark, evil magicks), all disapprove of Tydrolus's choice of path of combat since he did not focus on magic like they did. Their parents were almost nonexistent in their rearing (often socializing with the elite upper-class and generally being too absorbed in themselves to pay attention to what their boys enjoyed doing to entertain themselves) and the four raised each other, becoming very tightly-knit. They did not suffer poverty of any kind and were well-off economically, the boys were dissatisfied with being part of the civilian class and chose to harness their abilities.
However, his brothers envy him because Tydrolus has been the most successful and well-liked of the four, able to be happy with the skills he has and the path he has chosen while they all bicker with each other and try to prove who's the most talented.
Tydrolus later abandoned his brothers to go seek his own idea of glory. At heart, he still loves his brothers despite being so testy with each other all the time and likes to send his spoils of combat back home if he feels it would help one of them better learn their skills. Though snarky, sarcastic, and somewhat self-absorbed, Tydrolus's heart tends to be in the right place and has found his calling in protecting and helping the weak (simply because he thinks they are too weak to help themselves).

Physical Appearance: Very large, muscular, and tall. Very thick with large amounts of muscle, and some fat. Unattractive, with short unkempt brown hair, with blue eyes. Has scars all over his body from his numerous fights.
Short Background Summary: Brick was born not the brightest child. He struggled to learn to read, and could barely learn math. However, there was one thing he could do, and it was destroy. Even when he was young, he was massive for his age, and normally damaged things without meaning to. He never figured out why he was being punished for all the damage he caused. As he grew older, it became harder for him not to break things. He never wanted to do these things, and always felt bad about them.
